This month's lecture/discussion will focus on PFC’s affiliation with American Atheists. Jeff Prebeg will be hosting this talk, as he's a local director with the organization. He will present a brief history, discussion of the organization's efforts and goals, what their grassroots campaign entails, and end with a discussion with the group about what efforts they would like to take and how American Atheists can possibly help and facilitate.

Jeff Prebeg is a local board member of the Pittsburgh Freethought Community. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh in Political Science and History. While not a lifelong atheist, it has been the focus of his free time for the past several years mostly in the online and podcast world. His main area of focus is the normalization of the word "atheist" to make it easier for others to come out. Having made many connections in other parts of the country, he hopes to bring this useful material to the place he's called home his whole life. He currently resides in Crafton with his two cats, Jojo and Jessica.
