This month's topic pertains to the role of government in a civilized society and what the rights and expectations of the society's members should be. For example: is education a right? If so, to what level? Is healthcare a right or a privilege? Is safe drinking water or food supply a right? Or is it government overreach? What about protection from fraudulent behavior by the less ethical members of the society? And what are the limits of this protection? Is regulation of fraudulent behavior or unsafe products justified or is it intrusive regulation? Essentially, where are the limits of governmental or societal regulation in our daily lives?

Discussion topics are announced in advance of the event and are chosen for their controversy or differences of opinion around the subject.

Hope to see you there!
