This event is really about lunch and community, but we can start off with a "nice" discussion and then wherever the conversation takes us.

The recent HeGetsUs ads feature "nice" Jesus.  Will American Christians become nice?  Were they ever nice and if so, which ones and when?  Are woke people nice?  Are we nice?  Is "nice" a losing political strategy or will Americans eventually get tired of "angry" and "mean"?

(El Burro is a short walk from Sunday Assembly Pittsburgh, which meets on the 3rd Sunday of each month from 10:00 to 11:30 am at the Wilkins School Community Center, 7604 Charleston Avenue, PGH.  Sunday Assembly is a partner of the Pittsburgh Freethought Community.)
